Gatherings

Each gathering is unique — made by whoever is there. The ethos stays: queer space, co-creation, food shared, heart open.

What is a gathering?

If you have never been, you may wonder what happens. Activities change from one gathering to the next. What tends to return is a fluid, diverse queer space where people of many ages, races, bodies, sexualities, genders, and beliefs come together — liberating for some, unfamiliar for others. If you are new, you can chat with an organiser first. If your heart is already saying yes, listen to that.

Co-creation

Faeries say: if you see something that needs doing, the best way is to do it. A team helps beforehand; the event itself happens because of who comes. People chip in — meals, dishes, wood, workshops, heart circles, entertainment, sweeping up. Nothing particular is obligatory; participation is the gathering.

Food, heart, and play

We eat together — vegetarian with vegan options, cooked in the kitchen by whoever wants to help. Heart circles often run freer of city time-pressure and can open profound sharing. Workshops and activities may include ritual, dancing, drumming, theatre, music, art, games, fancy dress, silence, solitude, chaos, and more. If you bring it, it will most likely happen.
